First Citizens shares climb to $40

Overall market activity resulted from trading in six securities of which four advanced, zero declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 47,727 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $931,543.62. 

 

 

Guardian Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 37,957 shares changing hands for a value of $535,604.25, followed by First Citizens Bank Ltd with a volume of 9,460 shares being traded for $378,356.20. National Enterprises Ltd contributed 171 shares with a value of $2,999.34, while Republic Bank Ltd added 104 shares valued at $12,045.28. First Citizens Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $1.43 to end the day at $40.

 

Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 5,800 shares valued at $127,194. It advanced by $0.18 to end at $21.93.
