Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 193,066 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $3,181,067.99. Trinidad Cement Ltd was the volume leader with 90,613 shares changing hands for a value of $208,409.90, followed by First Citizens Bank Ltd with a volume of 54,628 shares being traded for $2,348,347.39.
National Enterprises Ltd contributed 25,000 shares with a value of $450,142.15, while GraceKennedy Ltd added 12,500 shares valued at $46,250. First Citizens Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.02 to end the day at $42.99. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 71,953 shares valued at $1,618,942.50. It remained at $22.50.
