Government will sign four loan agreements with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on Monday. The agreements, which will aid in the future development of the country, will be signed by Planning Minister Dr Bhoendradatt Tewarie and IDB country representative Michelle Cross-Fenty, IDB's country representative, during a function in the La Lune Conference Room, Level 20 Eric Williams Financial Complex, Port-of-Soaun
The agreements are for the following development programmes which were approved by the IDB late last year:
�2 Flood Alleviation and Drainage Programme for Port-of-Spain: US$120 million;
�2 Finance Strengthened Information Management at the Registrar General's Department: US$20 million;
�2 Global Services Promotion Programme: US$18 million;
�2 Letter of agreement for Project Preparation and Execution Facility (PROPEF) to support the proposed Health Services Support Programme (HSSP): US$1.5 million.
