Columbus moves English to top of the class
Columbus International has announced the promotion of Michele English to the role of executive vice president and chief customer officer.
English is president and chief operating officer of Columbus’ operations in Jamaica, including Flow and Columbus Business Solutions.
She formally starts her new role on July 1.
President of Columbus’ Caribbean operations, John Reid, described English's promotion as part of Columbus’ strategic plan to be the provide the best customer care in the region.
According to Reid, English will have "ultimate responsibility for the entire customer experience".
A release from Columbus described English as "a seasoned executive".
"Since joining Columbus in 2006, her experience and leadership have resulted in the Jamaican operations growing in revenue, customer base, as well as in stature across the country. Named a top business leader, she has been nationally recognised for her contributions to the economy, innovations in customer service and for the Company’s contribution to corporate social responsibility," the release said.
