Republic shares now worth $116.71

Overall market activity resulted from trading in nine securities of which two advanced, six declined and one traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 30,902 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,398,701.60. Angostura Holdings Limited was the volume leader with 10,170 shares changing hands for a value of $109,327.50, followed by Republic Bank Limited with a volume of 10,108 shares being traded for $1,179,704.68. 

 

GraceKennedy Limited contributed 7,680 shares with a value of $28,416.00, while Trinidad Cement Limited added 1,323 shares valued at $2,844.45. Republic Bank Limited enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.01 to end the day at $116.71. Conversely, Clico Investment Fund suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.45 to close at $22.05. It was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 66,040 shares valued at $1,456,322.
