Neal and Massy shares gain $0.88
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 15 securities of which six advanced, one declined and eight traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 252,641 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $9,679,542.14. Angostura Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 78,595 shares changing hands for a value of $845,362.99, followed by Neal and Massy Holdings Ltd with a volume of 72,863 shares being traded for $4,824,215.70.
Republic Bank Ltd contributed 22,706 shares with a value of $2,656,611.48, while Scotia Investments Jamaica Ltd added 21,000 shares valued at $30,675. Neal and Massy Holdings Ltd enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.88 to end the day at $66.21. Conversely, Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation Ltd suffered the day's sole decline, falling $0.08 to end the day at $3.62.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 54,841 shares valued at $1,209,447.05. It remained at $22.05.
