Republic Bank shares fall by $0.25
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 12 securities of which one advanced, four declined and seven traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 136,654 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,625,521.71. Sagicor Financial Corporation was the volume leader with 70,000 shares changing hands for a value of $558,800. National Flour Mills Ltd then followed with a volume of 26,000 shares being traded for $27,300.
Angostura Holdings Ltd contributed 15,000 shares with a value of $161,250, while Republic Bank Ltd added 8,860 shares valued at $1,036,620. National Flour Mills Ltd enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.05 to end the day at $1.05. Conversely, Republic Bank Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.25 to close at $117. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 3,133 shares valued at $69,082.65. It remained at $22.05.
