Overall market activity resulted from trading in nine securities of which three advanced, three declined and three traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 149,248 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,023,174.53.
Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited was the volume leader with 100,000 shares changing hands for a value of $50,1000, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 37,325 shares being traded for $287,402.50. Neal and Massy Holdings Limited contributed 7,505 shares with a value of $497,341.07, while First Citizens Bank Limited added 2,107 shares valued at $82,135.86.
One Caribbean Media Limited enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.12 to end the day at $19.14. Conversely, Scotiabank T&T Limited suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.50 to close at $72. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 22,026 shares valued at $477,964.20. It remained at $21.70.
