Scotia Bank falls by $1.90
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 12 securities of which five advanced, five declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 653,357 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $6,420,588.47. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd was the volume leader with 186,000 shares changing hands for a value of $103,300, followed by GraceKennedy Ltd with a volume of 161,400 shares being traded for $564,975.11.
Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.03 to end the day at $0.56. Conversely, Scotiabank T&T Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $1.90 to close at $70.10. The Mutual Fund Market did not record any activity.
