Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd was the volume leader with 39,340 shares changing hands for a value of $22,030.40, followed by Neal and Massy Holdings Ltd with a volume of 20,038 shares being traded for $1,328,719.78.
Ansa Merchant Bank Ltd contributed 9,411 shares with a value of $361,225.84, while First Citizens Bank Ltd added 5,608 shares valued at $197,169.06. Scotiabank T&T Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.90 to end the day at $71. Conversely, Flavorite Foods Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $1.21 to close at $7. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 24,180 shares valued at $528,333. It advanced by $0.09 to end at $21.85.
