Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 427,284 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $7,604,293.50. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd was the volume leader with 187,776 shares changing hands for a value of $93,888, followed by National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd with a volume of 86,000 shares being traded for $98,900. Ansa McAL Ltd contributed 71,380 shares with a value of $4,743,201, while GraceKennedy Ltd added 25,194 shares valued at $90,479. First Citizens Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.37 to end the day at $37.41. Conversely, Republic Bank Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.27 to close at $120.33. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 30,366 shares valued at $651,315.10. It advanced by $0.05 to end at $21.45.
