Energy Minister Kevin Ramnarine and Finance Minister Larry Howai met on Wednesday with Carl Henric Svanberg, BP plc chairman, at the Trinidad Hilton. Also at the meeting were Norman Christie, president of BPTT and Giselle Thompson, vice president of Corporate Operations, BPTT.It was Svanberg's first visit to T&T and follows a visit by Bob Dudley, BP plc CEO, in October 2013. Discussions centred around BP's upcoming investments in T&T and the global outlook for the oil and gas industry.Svanberg had previously met Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar on the margins of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Perth, Australia, in late 2011.
