Overall market activity resulted from trading in 13 securities of which five advanced, three declined and five traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 121,311 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,887,530.82. Guardian Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 52,824 shares changing hands for a value of $739,536, followed by Angostura Holdings Limited with a volume of 27,000 shares being traded for $351,000.
Unilever Caribbean Limited enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $1.22 to end the day at $60. Conversely, First Citizens Bank Limited suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.54 to close at $38.02.
