Overall market activity resulted from trading in 15 securities of which five advanced, one declined and nine traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 242,098 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $4,486,052.81. Angostura Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 65,078 shares changing hands for a value of $845,914, followed by Trinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 55,383 shares being traded for $110,766. Neal and Massy Holdings Ltd contributed 35,800 shares with a value of $2,398,950, while Guardian Holdings Ltd added 24,378 shares valued at $341,292. Republic Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.40 to end the day at $121. Conversely, Clico Investment Fund suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.14 to end the day at $21.85. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 125,908 shares valued at $2,751,082.05.
