No declines in Monday’s trading
Overall market activity resulted from trading in nine securities of which four advanced, zero declined and five traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 87,196 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $747,916.93. Trinidad Cement Limited was the volume leader with 40,000 shares changing hands for a value of $80,000, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 38,728 shares being traded for $261,801.28.
Ansa McAL Limited contributed 5,213 shares with a value of $345,621.90, while Guardian Holdings Limited added 2,000 shares valued at $29,100. Guardian Holdings Limited enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.06 to end the day at $14.55. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 21,005 shares valued at $455,516. It advanced by $0.05 to end at $21.69.
