Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 630,589 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $23,720,684.89. Guardian Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 465,797 shares changing hands for a value of $6,917,944.40, followed by Republic Bank Ltd with a volume of 114,941 shares being traded for $13,851,539.91.
Neal and Massy Holdings Ltd contributed 16,736 shares with a value of $1,145,245.21, while First Citizens Bank Ltd added 14,533 shares valued at $552,245.36. Guardian Holdings Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.30 to end the day at $14.85. Conversely, The West Indian Tobacco Company Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.01 to end the day at $118.03. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 12,696 shares valued at $274,868.40. It remained at $21.65.
