Ramnarine in talks with BG officials

Energy Minister Kevin Ramnarine met recently with Sir John Grant executive vice president of BG Group and Chris Cox executive vice president BG Advance). BG Group’s subsidiary—BG T&T has a significant presence locally as the country’s second largest producer of natural gas. The company also holds a major position in the LNG business in T&T. Discussions centered on the ongoing development of the Starfish field and upcoming plans for new projects and investments. Also attending the meeting were Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs Selwyn Lashley and BG T&T Asset General Manager Garvin Goddard.
