Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 214,320 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $3,448,924.30. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited was the volume leader with 137,660 shares changing hands for a value of $61,947, followed by ANSA McAL Limited with a volume of 28,246 shares being traded for $1,890,809.84. Sagicor Financial Corporation contributed 14,750 shares with a value of $99,648.25, while First Citizens Bank Limited added 11,794 shares valued at $448,774.70.
ANSA McAL Limited enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.65 to end the day at $66.94. Conversely, Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.02 to close at $0.45. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 48,998 shares valued at $1,060,806.70. It remained at $21.65.
