Overall market activity resulted from trading in 12 securities of which two advanced, four declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 145,910 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $975,010.08. Jamaica Money Markey Brokers Limited was the volume leader with 69,634 shares changing hands for a value of $31,335.30, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 35,515 shares being traded for $237,610.80.
Angostura Holdings Limited contributed 21,500 shares with a value of $274,153.04, while Guardian Holdings Limited added 10,902 shares valued at $155,898.60. Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation Limited enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $0.15 to end the day at $4.15. Conversely, First Citizens Bank Limited suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.59 to close at $36.84. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 455 shares valued at $9,828. It remained at $21.60.
