Over­all mar­ket ac­tiv­i­ty re­sult­ed from trad­ing in 14 se­cu­ri­ties of which three ad­vanced, two de­clined and nine trad­ed firm.

Trad­ing ac­tiv­i­ty on the First Tier Mar­ket reg­is­tered a vol­ume of 191,387 shares cross­ing the floor of the Ex­change val­ued at $2,083,388.01. Trinidad Ce­ment Ltd was the vol­ume leader with 54,853 shares chang­ing hands for a val­ue of $106,963.35, fol­lowed by Guardian Hold­ings Ltd with a vol­ume of 48,043 shares be­ing trad­ed for $687,014.90. Na­tion­al Com­mer­cial Bank Ja­maica Ltd con­tributed 35,633 shares with a val­ue of $39,355.96, while Sco­tia In­vest­ments Ja­maica Ltd added 21,266 shares val­ued at $32,962.30.

Neal and Massy Hold­ings Ltd en­joyed the day's largest gain, in­creas­ing $0.19 to end the day at $69.25. Con­verse­ly, Sco­tia­bank T&T Ltd suf­fered the day's great­est loss, falling $0.25 to close at $69.

Cli­co In­vest­ment Fund was the on­ly ac­tive se­cu­ri­ty on the Mu­tu­al Fund Mar­ket, post­ing a vol­ume of 65,241 shares val­ued at $1,412,467.65. It ad­vanced by $0.01 to end at $21.65.
