Angostura Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 50,094 shares changing hands for a value of $638,698.50. Republic Bank Ltd traded a volume of 45,219 shares for $5,518,978.95. ANSA Merchant Bank Ltd contributed 21,508 shares with a value of $840,102.48, while Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd added 20,000 shares valued at $9,000.00.
Unilever Caribbean Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.22 to end the day at $62.56. Conversely, Angostura Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.23 to close at $12.75. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 111,940 shares valued at $2,426,776.00. The second tier market did not witness any activity.
