20,000 TCL shares trade hands

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 13 securities, of which two advanced, five declined and six traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 101,760 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $1,758,952.92. Guardian Media Ltd was the volume leader with 58,437 shares changing hands for a value of $1,154,330.75, followed by Ttrinidad Cement Ltd with a volume of 20,000 shares being traded for $39,000.00. Guardian Holdings Ltd contributed 8,602 shares with a value of $123,868.80, while First Citizens Bank Ltd added 4,045 shares valued at $142,864.84. First Citizens Bank Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.06 to end the day at $35.32. Clico Investment Fund suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.06 to close at $21.68. Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 2,172 shares valued at $47,090.66. It declined by $0.06 to end at $21.68. The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity.
