Robert Riley, former chairman and CEO of bpTT has been appointed to the board of Massy Holdings Ltd effective December 17.Riley is currently group head of Safety and Operations Risk, Culture and Capability of BP plc in London, a position he has held since 2010. His career with BP spans more than two decades and prior to serving in the energy company's top post in T&T, he was business unit leader and vice president, Law and Government Affairs.
In 2009, Riley was conferred the degree of Doctor of Laws, Honoris Causa from the University of the West Indies (UWI) for his contribution to energy sector development policy. He was awarded the Chaconia Gold medal for his contribution to national economic development in 2003.
Riley graduated with honours in Law and Agriculture from UWI and is an attorney-at-law.
