The National Training Agency will conduct a labour market survey in Tobago within the next three months. Tertiary Education Minister Fazal Karim made the announcement when he addressed an MIC Institute of Technology's Graduation Ceremony at Bon Accord.The survey will assist employers in recruitment for the automotive, construction, hospitality and tourism sectors.
The real time data received will also provide feedback to the institutions on their future needs.A total of 386 persons graduated from the Multi-Sector Skills Training (MuST) Programme, Helping You Prepare for Employment Programme (HYPE) and the Industrial Craft Programme (ICP).Karim advised them to expand their learning prospects in the workplace and through further education.
