Eve Anderson Recruitment has launched a new office on Scott Bushe Street, Port-of-Spain, right next to outsourcing and advisory company, Aegis Business Solutions Limited. This office move marks a combined strength in outsourcing services and human resource solutions in the marketplace as the two companies work side by side under the leadership of chairman Angela Lee Loy.
Lee Loy bought the formerly known Eve Anderson Associates back in 2012. The company was founded in 1970 and originally delivered staffing solutions to local and multinational companies across the nation. Some key milestones in T&T's history included providing staffing for the 1980s visit of Pope John Paul II and royal visit of HM Queen Elizabeth II. The company has evolved significantly over the last 44 years.
Today, under CEO Maria Chong Ton, Eve Anderson Recruitment has expanded its services to executive and mid-level recruitment across industries, headhunting, interim management solutions, human resource support services, coaching and training.
"Our growth and development has led to our need for larger offices in both Port-of-Spain and Central Trinidad. We have loved and enjoyed our landmark address at 143 Edward Street and will take the spirit of our company over to the new and larger facilities," said Chong Ton.
The efforts of Eve Anderson Recruitment coupled with the human resource advisory arm of Aegis Business Solutions will be a force to reckon with. Aegis offers specialised services in industrial relations, retrenchment and severance, audits and also specialised recruitment and headhunting to name a few.
Their focus on advising foreign investors into setting up in T&T coupled with Eve Anderson's ability to further provide recruitment and human resource support at all professional levels will be a one-stop business service operation. Their joint efforts will be a valuable source to local and international businesses across the Caribbean.
This move comes at a poignant time when the country seeks to diversify and promote Trinidad and Tobago as the investment destination in the region.
Interestingly, both companies will now be operating on Scott Bushe Street, Port-of-Spain, and their recent extended office in Chase Village, near Chaguanas to better cater to businesses in central and south Trinidad.
