Second day of gains for TCL shares
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 13 securities of which three advanced, three declined and seven traded firm.
Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 226,296 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,066,400.14. National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited was the volume leader with 173,407 shares changing hands for a value of $537,561.70, followed by JMMB Group Limited with a volume of 18,072 shares being traded for $16,626.24. Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation Limited contributed 13,500 shares with a value of $50,625, while Guardian Holdings Limited added 8,873 shares valued at $115,349.
Trinidad Cement Limited enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.51 to end the day at $5.05. Conversely, Scotiabank T&T Limited suffered the day’s greatest loss, falling $0.02 to close at $58.75.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 44,075 shares valued at $996,048.50. It remained at $22.60.
