Overall market activity resulted from trading in 10 securities of which five advanced, two declined and three traded firm.
Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 119,172 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $795,419.97. GraceKennedy Ltd was the volume leader with 49,230 shares changing hands for a value of $130,951.80, followed by JMMB with a volume of 30,903 shares being traded for $37,781.66.
Angostura Holdings Ltd contributed 27,182 shares with a value of $407,730 while Guardian Holdings Ltd added 5,000 shares valued at $75,550.
One Caribbean Media registered the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.40 to end the day at $16.40. Conversely, FirstCaribbean International Bank registered the day’s largest decline, falling $0.05 to close at $9.00.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 22,701 shares valued at $510,772.50. Clico Investment Fund declined by $0.02 to end at $22.50.
The second tier market did not witness any activity.
