Overall market activity resulted from trading in 20 securities of which three advanced, four declined and 13 traded firm.
Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 1,011,964 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $6,229,309.60. GraceKennedy Ltd was the volume leader with 550,572 shares changing hands for a value of $1,530,761.53, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation with a volume of 373,000 shares being traded for $3,360,307.09. National Enterprises Ltd contributed 36,889 shares with a value of $387,678.87, while JMMB Group added 11,941 shares valued at $15,284.48.
ANSA McAL registered the day’s largest gain, increasing $1.11 to end the day at $67.50. Conversely, Prestige Holdings Ltd registered the day’s largest decline, falling $0.19 to close at $10.81.
On the mutual fund market 6,131 shares changed hands for a value of $21,128.81.
The second tier market did not witness any activity.
