GHL closes lower at $16.12
Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 2,080,737 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $4,904,638.46. Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited was the volume leader with 2,024,656 shares changing hands for a value of $3,948,159.39, followed by GraceKennedy Limited with a volume of 16,894 shares being traded for $45,613.80. Guardian Holdings Limited contributed 16,540 shares with a value of $266,619.40, while Trinidad Cement Limited added 5,000 shares valued at $20,700.
Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.04 to end the day at $1.95. Conversely, Guardian Holdings Limited registered the day’s largest decline, falling $0.08 to close at $16.12.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 200 shares valued at $4,500. It remained at $22.50.
