Flow rates to increase from October
From October 1, Flow Trinidad will be increasing the price of their digital and AVS cable television packages.
According to a release from the company, the reasons for the increase were as a result of “continued fluctuations in the value of the rate of exchange between the US and the TT dollar which has increased the cost of our services and annual price increases imposed by our programming providers”
In spite of the price increase the company stated that they remained “committed to offering our customers the best service at the most competitive prices.”
The release added that from a global perspective, annual rate increases in the cable sector were customary.
Flow stated however, that such an approach was something that the company tried to avoid.
“As far as possible we choose not to do an annual price increase to our customers, however at times it is unavoidable.” the release said.
The company added that bundle customers would not be affected by the price increase.
