The founder of fab­ric and fur­ni­ture store Daisy’s Ex­clu­sive, Daisy Ram­per­sad, has died.

In post­ing to the com­pa­ny’s so­cial me­dia pages, Ram­per­sad’s death was con­firmed.

The post read, “The loss of Ms. Daisy is im­mea­sur­able, for she was a vi­sion­ary leader and a benev­o­lent soul. Ms. Daisy lives on in our hearts.”

The com­pa­ny paid fur­ther trib­ute to Ram­per­sad in an­oth­er post stat­ing, “Ms. Daisy was more than just the heart­beat of Daisy’s Ex­clu­sive; she was its very soul. A trail­blaz­ing en­tre­pre­neur, vi­sion­ary leader, and source of un­wa­ver­ing in­spi­ra­tion.

“While we mourn the loss of this ex­tra­or­di­nary woman, we are com­mit­ted to hon­or­ing her lega­cy and car­ry­ing for­ward the val­ues she in­stilled in Daisy’s Ex­clu­sive. Ms. Daisy’s spir­it will for­ev­er live on in our hearts and through the work we do every day.”

The store, which is lo­cat­ed in Ch­agua­nas, has earned a sig­nif­i­cant fol­low­ing for its sale of cur­tains, fur­ni­ture and oth­er home items.
