Neela Mooni­lal-Kissoon has re­signed as group deputy CEO, op­er­a­tions and ad­min­is­tra­tion of the First Cit­i­zens Group.

In a no­tice post­ed post­ed on the Trinidad and To­ba­go Stock Ex­change, the ma­jor­i­ty state-owned bank dis­closed that Mooni­lal-Kissoon's res­ig­na­tion took ef­fect on March 6, 2026.

First Cit­i­zens Group Shankar Bidaisee con­firmed the res­ig­na­tion was sub­mit­ted when con­tact­ed, but did not wish to com­ment ex­ten­sive­ly about her de­ci­sion to leave.

Mooni­lal-Kissoon had been ap­point­ed to the role in De­cem­ber 2023. She had been em­ployed with the group for 25 years.
