Republic Bank Ltd launched its new online banking platform yesterday, but it was not without teething problems, as several customers took to social media to complain about issues using it.
The bank, however, acknowledged the hiccups and asked for patience from their customers.
“Today we launched our new online banking platform! However, we’re having a few technical difficulties at the moment and as such, you may be having some challenges to log on. We ask for your patience and understanding at this time, as we seek to rectify these issues . Thank you,” Republic Bank stated in social media yesterday.
On Sunday, both the RepublicOnline and Republic Mobile App services were temporarily unavailable for Republic Bank T&T eight hours starting at noon.
“This has become necessary to facilitate an upgrade to our systems to better serve you. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause,” Republic Bank stated.
