Caribbean Airlines has launched a non-stop service from Port-of-Spain to Kingston. The flight will operate twice weekly, and passengers will be able to get from Port-of-Spain to Kingston non-stop on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

NEW YORK – Stocks closed broadly lower for a third straight week on signs that US consumer demand may be weakening. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 93.28 points, or 0.7 per cent, to 12,512.04. The Standard & Poor's 500 index lost 10.33, or 0.8 per cent, to 1,333.27.

NEW YORK – Oil climbed above $99 per barrel in volatile trading on Friday as the dollar weakened. Pump prices fell again as another industry report showed that drivers are buying less gasoline. Benchmark crude for June delivery rose $1.05 to settle at $99.49 per barrel.
