Host­ed by Ul­ti­mate Events, One Fete was held at the Queen's Park Oval, Port-of-Spain and fea­tured JW and Blaze as mas­ters of cer­e­monies. In case you missed it, for­mer In­ter­na­tion­al So­ca Mon­archs and Road March Mon­archs JW and Blaze have vo­calised the an­them for Car­ni­val 2012 ti­tled We Time, writ­ten by Kim­ba Sorzano. No. It's not the same as hav­ing a song that every­body loves be­cause it re­ceives air­play un­du­ly. In this in­stance, it's a com­po­si­tion that comes along every once in a while, which you hear and can't for­get be­cause it has al­ready en­tered the blood stream and you won't let it leave.

But let's not for­get Ker­win Du Bois who is al­so en­joy­ing a fan­tas­tic sea­son and seems to be achiev­ing much suc­cess at con­vert­ing mild man­nered souls in­to bac­cha­nal­ists. From his col­lab­o­ra­tion with Patrice Roberts ti­tled I Am So­ca, to Bac­ch­nal­ist, Du Bois was well re­ceived, among the so­lo acts. Oth­er fea­tured artistes at One Fete in­clud­ed Shal Mar­shall and TC.
