Who will it be? The an­tic­i­pa­tion is ris­ing as T&T counts down to one of the biggest events in Car­ni­val the In­ter­na­tion­al So­ca Monarch now be­ing dubbed Su­per Red 20.

Al­ready the com­pet­i­tive pi­cong has be­gun among some of the so­ca vet­er­ans who con­tin­ue to en­joy fre­quent air­play on the ra­dio sta­tions.

But, don't un­der­es­ti­mate the un­der­dogs. They too have vowed to put their best per-for­mances for­ward come Car­ni­val Fri­day as they com­pete for brag­ging rights and of course, a hand­some sum.

But till then, so­ca fans are hav­ing a field day en­joy­ing the sea­son's re­leas­es which have been blaz­ing the lo­cal air­waves morn­ing, noon and night.

And when ap­proached by the T&T Guardian on Wednes­day, these un­sus­pect­ing so­ca fans stat­ed that while this year's in­stal­ments of the C2K12 Dig­i­cel In­ter­na­tion­al Pow­er So­ca Monarch, Play Whe In­ter­na­tion­al Groovy So­ca Monarch and CT Vibe 105FM Road March com­pe­ti­tions are shap­ing up to be fierce, there will be those who will stand out from the crowd. The oth­ers, they say, need to come hard, or go home.
