At its spank­ing new air-con­di­tioned home at the Queen's Park Sa­van­nah, Port-of-Spain, Kaiso House is tonight host­ing the me­dia. A re­lease on Tues­day stat­ed that the oc­ca­sion is to thank the me­dia for "sig­nif­i­cant­ly sup­port­ing the no­ble art form of ca­lyp­so." Signed by Trin­ba­go Uni­fied Ca­lyp­so­ni­ans Ograni­sa­tion (Tu­co) pres­i­dent Lu­ta­lo Masim­ba (Broth­er Re­sis­tance), al­so a mem­ber of the tent's man­age­ment team, the state­ment al­so said: "Your con­tin­ued ac­tions and deal­ings with our or­gan­i­sa­tion have al­ways been pos­i­tive and grat­i­fy­ing.

"In light of this, the man­age­ment of Kaiso House agreed that a spe­cial show should be held to of­fi­cial­ly say 'thank you'." Show­time is 8 pm. The flag­ship tent of Tu­co, Kaiso House was for­mal­ly opened by Jen­nifer Jones, per­ma­nent sec­re­tary in the Min­istry of the Arts and Mul­ti­cul­tur­al­ism, last Tues­day night. With its show host­ed by Tom­my Joseph and Shel­don John, Kaiso House is blessed with some ex­cel­lent songs and per­for­mances, de­liv­ered by the likes of reign­ing Na­tion­al Ca­lyp­so Monarch Karene As­che, reign­ing North Zone Ca­lyp­so Monarch Dwayne O'Con­nor, Singing San­dra, Rik­ki Jai, Pos­er, Valenti­no, Shad­ow, Mr Shak, Der­rick Seales, Black Sage, Broth­er Mu­da­da, Mar­vel­lous Mar­va, Bri­an Lon­don, D Di­a­mond, Brown Boy, Bun­ny B and Kass­man.
