Co or­di­na­tor of the Ju­nior So­ca Monarch Jack Alex­is says the young peo­ple are prepar­ing a buf­fet of "good qual­i­ty mu­sic" for the com­pe­ti­tion, which is sched­uled to take place on Feb­ru­ary 10 at the Queen's Park Sa­van­nah, Port-of-Spain. They will seek to de­throne Reign­ing Champ Ser­jio Came­jo-in the Pri­ma­ry cat­e­go­ry-and Marq Pierre- in the Sec­ondary cat­e­go­ry. Both pri­ma­ry and sec­ondary school stu­dents are ex­pect­ed to com­pete. Guest artistes like Ker­win Du Bois and Megan Wal­drond will pro­vide en­ter­tain­ment.
