Fatima College Past Students Association hosts its annual all-inclusive fete tomorrow at the college from 5 pm to 11.30 pm. Music will be supplied by Roy Cape All Stars, Dil-e-Nadan, and Kes the Band. DJs are Hurricane George and Hi Fidelity Less Than Zero. Special surprise guest artistes will be on hand to keep the tempo going. Patrons can be assured of sumptuous mouth-watering dishes as before: Peking duck, curried crab and dumplings, dim sum, baby back ribs, suckling pig, wild meat, gourmet doubles, kebabs, gyros, etc, not forgetting the roasted suckling pig and top-of-the-line alcoholic beverages. Dinner will be again available from Grand Central Ballroom where a limited choice of two full meals can be had in the College Hall which will be appropriately decorated.
Let your 'soles' be comforted (A 2010 innovation)
For the women who wish to change from heels to flat footwear, we have made the necessary arrangements so that they can leave their heels in our care and collect them at the end of the fete. In the event of rain we will also take care of your umbrellas for you.
The décor this year will be really something to behold. The theme for 2012 is "Let there be Light" and patrons are asked to wear white. The lighting will be out of this world. Unlimited food, premium drinks music, great company and, of course safety, are again guaranteed. Also, there will be exotic drinks and champagne on entry. Security will be provided for parked vehicles. This obviously, will be the fete of the year. All proceeds from this fete and other fund-raising ventures are channelled towards education, sport and developmental programmes in the college to ensure that Fatima College remains No 1. Last year the association funded the construction of a mezzanine floor in the college hall which celebrated its 60th anniversary on February 2 this year. They also totally refurbished the College Library, which is now a beauty to behold. Fatima College Past Students continue to support the College's sporting ventures. Patrons are reminded to observe the law and have designated drivers to take them home safely. Visit www.foba.fatima.edu.tt
