The Twin Walls Com­pound in La Ro­maine was the place to be on Feb­ru­ary 5, where pa­trons at the all-in­clu­sive Car­ni­val event, Karam­boulay, were treat­ed like roy­al­ty. Thou­sands turned up at the beau­ti­ful­ly dec­o­rat­ed venue and feast­ed on bake and shark, fin­ger foods and deserts. As they sipped on a wide ar­ray of al­co­holic and non-al­co­holic bev­er­ages, par­ty­go­ers were treat­ed to an en­er­getic dis­play of mu­si­cal ge­nius by the so­ca di­va De­stra Gar­cia. Gar­cia thrilled fans and de­liv­ered a stir­ring per­for­mance for just less than two hours.

When she teamed up with de­fend­ing Chut­ney So­ca Monarch Rik­ki Jai for their hot col­lab­o­ra­tion, Pa­nia, the crowd went in­to a fren­zy. Su­per Jig­ga TC cre­at­ed a nice vibe with his Groovy So­ca Monarch con­tender, Ac­tion. As usu­al, he had pa­trons win­ing and touch­ing there toes. The big crossover band Kar­ma con­tin­ued to stir up au­di­ences with their mix­ture of chut­ney and so­ca hits. Among those at­tend­ing the event was WASA CEO Gan­ga Singh, deputy Sen­ate pres­i­dent Lyn­di­ra Ou­dit, Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment Min­is­ter Chan­dresh Shar­ma and for­mer prime min­is­ter Bas­deo Pan­day and his wife Oma.
