All roads led to Playa del Este Pri­vate Re­sort and Sanc­tu­ary in Saly­bia on Car­ni­val Thurs­day for the an­nu­al Es­cape to Playa del Este all-in­clu­sive par­ty. With so much hap­pen­ing be­yond the gates of the venue it was well worth be­ing there from the very mo­ment the gates were opened.

The scenic view of the At­lantic Ocean, pre­mi­um drinks, wine, cock­tails, ex­ot­ic and tra­di­tion­al cui­sine, live en­ter­tain­ment from Dil-e-Nadan, Im­ij & Co, Os­car B & T&TEC Gay­a­tones, John­ny King, and rhythm sec­tions from Point Fortin, Laven­tille and Tu­na­puna, and pa­trons who un­der­stand what it means to be Trin­bag­on­ian dur­ing the Car­ni­val sea­son, made the event a suc­cess.

The par­ty was loaded with dig­ni­taries some of whom were vir­gins to the event. Oth­ers like Pres­i­dent George Maxwell Richards, his wife Dr Jean Ramjohn-Richards, Cos­ta Ri­ca Am­bas­sador Ri­car­do Thomp­son Thomp­son, and par­lia­men­tar­i­ans Dr Kei­th Row­ley and Don­na Cox are vet­er­ans of this much-looked-for­ward-too event and weren't go­ing to be left out of the ex­cite­ment.
