The Pa­rade of the Bands com­pe­ti­tion at the Queen's Park Sa­van­nah has come to be as­so­ci­at­ed with beau­ti­ful, scant­i­ly dressed women gy­rat­ing and parad­ing across the mam­moth stage in large bands. But some­times, the pa­rade is about much small­er en­deav­ours that hark back to the foun­da­tions of Trinidad Car­ni­val.
