Car­ni­val ac­tiv­i­ties host­ed by the Up­town Car­ni­val Im­prove­ment Com­mit­tee (UCIC) were a "tremen­dous suc­cess" and in­ci­dent free, ac­cord­ing to the group's sec­re­tary, Agnes Raghoo­bars­ingh. She said a to­tal of 113 bands passed through the UCIC's main judg­ing point on the Pic­cadil­ly Greens in Port-of-Spain on Car­ni­val Sun­day, Mon­day and Tues­day.

Raghoo­bars­ingh said Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar was among the hun­dreds of rev­ellers who pa­rad­ed through the venue, wide­ly re­gard­ed as the birth­place of T&T's Car­ni­val. Per­sad-Bisses­sar played mas on Car­ni­val Mon­day with 2012 Panora­ma champs, Neal and Massy Trinidad All Stars. Here are the re­sults from the var­i­ous com­pe­ti­tions host­ed by the UCIC:
