A date cannot be set for Pan Trinbago elections until after its court matter has been concluded, says Pan Trinbago president Keith Diaz.
The organisation is involved in a High Court lawsuit with four steelband representatives over its elections which were supposed to take place last October.
According to reports, the four representatives submitted their nomination papers to Pan Trinbago secretary Richard Forteau but were told they were invalid as they were not named as delegates of any member steelband.
However, they argued that Pan Trinbago's constitution stipulated that any name could be submitted from steelband members.
Diaz did not comment on the court matter but said the organisation's elections would take place after the case had been completed.
He added: "We are waiting on the judge to make a ruling in the matter. That should happen on January 17. "Once a ruling is made we can begin discussing elections."
