This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Fatima Old Boys' all-inclusive fete which will be held on Saturday, February 2, at the college, Mucurapo Road, St James, from 5 pm to 11.30 pm.
The organisers expressed much thanks, to God, and every one who assisted them in making this, one of the most successful parties in Carnival.
Music this year will be supplied by Roy Cape All Stars, Dil-e-Nadan, Bunji, Fay-Ann & The Asylum Band, Benjai, Blaxx, Iwer George and the Master, SuperBlue, supported by DJs Hurricane George, Euphoria and Hi Fidelity Less Than Zero.
Patrons are assured of sumptuous mouthwatering dishes as never before, and top of the line liquor. Dinner will be again available in the college's Grand Central Ballroom where a limited number, from a choice of two full meals, can be had in the College Hall, which will be appropriately decorated.
There will be a wide variety of food, including your favourite ribs, gourmet doubles, tandoorie chicken, bake and shark, curry crab, kebabs, jerk chicken, wild meat, sushi, lamb, shrimp, wings, peking duck, just to name a few, not forgetting the roasted suckling pig, an annual favourite.
An attraction caters for the women who wish to rest their soles, and change from heels to flat footwear.
Necessary arrangements have been so that they can leave their heels in the care of organisers and collect them at the end of the fete. The dcor this year will be really something to behold.
Security will be provided for parked vehicles.
This obviously will be the Fete of the Year. All proceeds from this fete and other fund-raising ventures are channelled towards education, sport and developmental programs in the college to ensure that Fatima College remains amongst the nation's best schools.
