Humility is a natural consequence of authenticity. Egotism and lying always walk hand in hand as the egotist always tries to preserve his/her image of "self-perfection" by pretending to be what he/she is not. You cannot pretend authenticity. With authenticity, you speak only once, since there is no need for further explanations and clarifications having said it all the first time around. Damage control becomes a non-issue. With authenticity there is truth; with truth there is credibility. Leadership is a consequence.
