On Tuesday Khan told TG that he hoped to define a role for former executive officers including past secretary Martin Joseph. "They have something to offer, there's more work than people," he added.
One of those may include Conrad Enill, who said that he proposed Khan for chairman. Khan said he'd like to see Manning contri-bute more to the parliamentary agenda. He added, "I hope with time he'll see it fit to, he's an MP for five years and we must give him his due respect... Mr Manning will be an influential person in the party from now until he dies. "Given more time, he'll come around to contributing more. We need his experience and expertise. I spoke to him couple times during the campaign but not since."
