Value and Benefits Of Laptop Initiative
The benefits of laptops through the PP government’s initiative continue to be one of the most striking achievements within the last few decades. Over the last 15 years, most parents and students have learnt about the importance of the computer and the many functions that can be discharged in a timely and effective manner.
However, the price of computers for most parents has been prohibitively expensive. Parents would have gladly purchased computers for their children if they could have afforded this expense, but this area of expenditure is not generally within the reach of low- and middle-income parents. The difficulty is to determine the limit of expenses that can be borne without depriving and dislocating the family of other necessities.
In one action, the government came to the rescue of parents. It is a fact that many families now have two or three computers in their homes and within the next year it is quite possible there may be five laptops in some homes. This may even gain more appreciation if the initiative is extended to primary schools.
