A total of 21 delegates from various districts across the country have been selected to compete in the La Reine Rive finals of the Prime Minister's Best Village Trophy competition slated for August 27 (self-expression and talent), and September 3 (evening wear) at the Queen's Park Savannah.
This follows preliminary competition in each of the districts over the past few weeks. Victoria West dominates the line-up with five delegates, followed by St George West with four, and St George East and Caroni South with three delegates each in the finals. The Prime Minister's Best Village Trophy competition falls under the purview of the Ministry of Community Development.
