Body found at San Fernando Hill
Police are hoping to identify the decomposing body of a man found at the bottom of the San Fernando Hill on Sunday.
Around 4 pm, an anonymous caller contacted Mon Repos police to say there was a foul stench at the HDC’s Olera Heights at Circular Road.
When police went to check, they found the corpse in bushes behind the buildings. They were unable to determine whether there were any marks of violence due to the advanced state of decomposition, but believe it may be a homeless man.
The body was taken to the Forensic Science Centre.
